The tea produced by this farm is unlike any we have tasted from Japan. The farm produces both cultivated and wild tea and processes the tea by roasting or baking vs steaming, which is customary in Japan. Iwakura is a green tea that grows naturally in wild groves. After the leaves are picked, they are roasted carefully to heighten the aroma.
